Sony Ericsson Remote Control Plug-Ins for Apple Macintosh OSX
Modern Sony Ericsson mobile phones come equipped with a "Remote Control" application that allows the addition of "Remote Control Plug-Ins". FuturaRemote© is a collection of "Remote Control Plug-Ins" to control common applications of Apple OSX with a variety of Sony Ericsson mobile phone handsets.

FuturaRemote - Apple DVD
This remote control template allows the user to use their compatible mobile phone to instantly access the Apple Dock and Apple Dashboard.

Common DVD function buttons are represented with individual buttons allowing easy control over the Apple DVD application.

FuturaRemote - Apple Mail
This remote control template allows the user to use their compatible mobile phone to instantly access the Apple Dock and Apple Dashboard.

The other buttons allow the basic functionality of "Get Mail" and the browsing of that e-mail.

Mac installation instructions:

Download the DMG file specifically designed for your SonyEricsson Mobile Phone.
If you have not paired your phone to your computer - on your phone
find the Bluetooth menu and make sure the Bluetooth device is switched on
On your Mac... from the "Apple menu"... launch "System Preferences"
Select "Bluetooth" (make sure Bluetooth is turned on)
Under the "Devices" select "Set Up New Device" and follow the instructions on-screen.
Now in "System Preferences" select the "Keyboard and Mouse" icon.
In the "Keyboard shortcuts" tab make sure these check-boxes are selected
(by default these check-boxes will be selected).
Launch the "Bluetooth File Exchange" application located in the Applications>Utilities folder
Select the FuturaRemote "*.hid" files that you will send to the phone
Select "Bluetooth Remote" from your mobile phones menu
